Justice in Oakland?

I was in Oakland working on some other photos and generally ignored the police and swat team putting the neighborhood on lock down as they went house by house searching for suspects of a drive by and fatal car crash. I found these two shots rather ironic as I rode by.

Rode up to Marin and walked for like a million miles up a big ole hill.

I took some photos of my friend MJ and his band the Pink Snowflakes as they blew through town and blew my eardrums to hell.

City Hall Study

When you begin viewing the world through a camera lens, your senses sharpen as your mind and eyes are forced to focus on people and things never before noticed or though about. Yesterday I woke up as a marketing researcher, this morning I wake up as a photographer. I lost my job yesterday and I turn my my head towards brighter horizons. Today I have no one else to blame for my successes or failures. Today I no longer trade my dignity for a dollar bill.

Alright, time to make it happen.
