Baby!

My first baby photo shoot! I like to shoot a little dark, but I realized that it doesn't work too well with babies. Babies are soft and fuzzy and so should their pictures. Right? What do you guys think?

When in the Course of Human Events~

~it becomes necessary for one blog to dissolve the political bands which have connected it with another blog, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle the blog, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that blog should declare the causes which impel them to the separation of the blog.

Yes, I've created a new blog~~ SFwiggle.com.

All my bikey stuff will be there now. I've been thinking about starting a blog dedicated to my passion for biking for a while now. I guess now it that time. Please stay tuned to this blog for everything Dusty and everything San Francisco (Well, except San Francisco bikey stuff, yeah, that'll be here like I said a minute ago.)

Business Card Design

IMG_2004 copy

My sister wanted to see my business card and so here it is. When I'm out shooting pictures people always ask where where I'll post the photos. I tell them my name and to look me up on flickr, but I doubt anyone ever remembers my name. I decided to make these cards to guide people to my flickr so they can go check out my pictures and help promote myself. I ordered them from moo and I couldn't be happier with the result. I ordered 100 cards for 20 bucks or so and the print turned out very nice. On the back of the card it simply says~~

Tell me what you think. I don't really know much about business card design.

Hurrah! Business Cards

I just got my business cards in the mail today. Just one more notch in Mission: Shameless Self Promotion. The minute I got the cards I started handing them out to all my coworkers. I can't wait to hit the streets with my camera and start handing them out! :D

Portfolio

P to the Ricia

Other than a couple extreme Frisbee session mentioned earlier, I've also been busy working on a portrait portfolio. I've spent more money on camera equipment than I'd like to think about so I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try and get a couple $$$$ back.

This is what I've figured out so far~

1) Take pretty pictures
2) Promote yourself on the internet
3) ??????
4) Profit

If anyone knows what step three is all about let me know, and in the meantime please check out My Portfolio of Pretty Pictures

George W. Bush Sewer Plant

George W. Bush Sewer Plant

"In 50 years from now, we want people to see George Bush's name on that plant, and ask each other what went wrong. We want them to be reminded of the Iraq war, and his other dramatic mistakes, and this is the perfect way to do it."

Any proposal supported by a petition carrying the signatures of more than 7,168 voters must go to the polls. The proposal has 8,500 signatures.
